Emerging Land by Ruairidh Mcglynn

Issue 115

Emerging land is a geological and anthropological study examining the rural landscape of Scotland.

Informed by my intrigue to venture into unknown territory, the series explores the coexistence between mankind and this landscape. Not focusing solely on the evidence of human kind.

The images suggest rather than explain, offering a reimagined alternative perspective that captures both past and present through a series of unexpected images. A departure from the stereotypical view of Scotland.

Ruairidh Mcglynn lives and works in Scotland.
