Touching Strangers by Richard Renaldi
Richard Renaldi was born in Chicago, IL, and received a BFA in photography from New York University. Solo exhibitions of his work have been mounted in galleries and museums throughout the United States since 2002, including "Wester Lives" at the Nicolaysen Art Museum and Discovery Center in Casper, Wyoming in 2007. Renaldi's work has been exhibited in numerous group shows, including Strangers: The First ICP (International Center of Photography) Triennial of Photography and Video (2003), and the traveling exhibition Pandemic Facing AIDS. Figure and Ground, his first monograph, was published by Aperture Books in 2006 and there is a forthcoming book titled Fall River Boys published by Charles Lane Press in February of 2009.
