Daniel Diasgranados
Daniel Diasgranados is a photographer and lens-based artist originally from Prince George’s County, MD, working out of Washington, D.C. His work wrestles with surrealism, the sublime, fiction and documentary abstraction and is primarily inspired by his early experiences being raised as a young, blatino male in the Prince George’s County, MD area. Working within photography, mixed-media works, video and bookmaking, his practice (which is highly collaborative) puts form to language and hopes to build a future that can include all under-represented individuals both in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area and globally through his fiction works.
