Vision 2020 is an idea initiated by the 4th and 7th Prime Minister of Malaysia. This ongoing body of work is an aim to study the ideals that were set upon the necessary prospects of a developed nation. This long term documentation focuses on the developments that are currently ongoing around Kuala Lumpur with a distinct emphasis differentiating between an urban and suburban environment. With an interest towards how both of these domains converge with one another, this short term documentation is one part of an exploration in understanding the idea of a faux oasis, what lies in between the intersection of development and destruction; where would we end?
