In Psychology, The Reality Principle is the principle that forces the mind to defer the pleasure principle when reality makes it necessary. The reality principle is the exact opposite of the pleasure principle (which seeks immediate gratification). It may be compared to the triumph of reason over passion, head over heart, rational over emotional mind.

Playing with the postulate that photography is NECESSARILY made of reality as raw material, the project gathers found scenes only. The series juxtaposes a series of metaphors about adulthood with a reflection on trivial and beauty in photography.
