Issue 129 - December 2019

From the Managing Editor:

We are very happy to share the beautiful work of Maureen Drennan, Paul Guilmoth & Dylan Hausthor, Amanda Musick and Shoshannah White for our final issue of 2019. Check out the portfolios of these talented artists, as well as Charcoal Book Club’s December book of the month, Summer Camp by Mark Steinmetz.

We are so grateful for all of the opportunities that 2019 brought to us, not least of which has been the chance to share the work of many talented artists with our audience. Thanks for your continued support and for sharing your work with us at conferences, reviews, or online. These exchanges within our broader photo community are what keeps things interesting!

In addition to our issue features, I am also very pleased to announce that I will be jurying the call for submissions “The Future’s So Bright” from Analog Forever Magazine. Please check out the call and apply by December 31st - I’m excited to see what work you will submit! And keep a look out because AF Editor-in-Chief Michael Kirchoff will be gracing Fraction with his curatorial skills for an exhibition opportunity in early 2020. We are also excited to share a call for work for photo-eye Gallery’s 2020 Juried Exhibition Fractured. It’s pretty rare for photo-eye to have an open call, so don’t snooze on this opportunity that closes January 20th, 2020. Lots of amazing things happening lately - check out the portfolios and opportunities. Best wishes to you and yours for a healthy and happy holiday season

With gratitude,
Bree Lamb
