The Curated Fridge Summer 2020 “Little Wins”

I had a great time collaborating with Yorgos Efthymiadis for The Curated Fridge Summer 2020 “Little Wins.” Below is a selection of 10 images from the 60 final works. It was hard to narrow down to 60 and even more difficult to narrow down to 10! Check out the full selection of work here.

Curatorial Statement:

"I want to extend my sincere gratitude to every artist who took the time to submit their work to The Curated Fridge’s Summer Call “Little Wins.” With 1060 images from 231 photographers, you did not make it easy to finalize the selections! The selected work represents a wide range of style and content, from staged portraits and still lifes to candid shots and vernacular observations. It was exciting to see such a rich response to and interpretation of the call “Little Wins,” especially during this important time in the United States with crucial calls for racial justice, systemic change and advocacy for equity, in the midst of a global pandemic. We received a large amount of work that shared views on nationwide protests and adjustments to daily routines during quarantine, as well as other keen visions celebrating the smaller and quieter, but meaningful moments in our lives. It’s alway a pleasure to see such dynamic work and a variety of viewpoints. Thank you again for your interest and support, and to Yorgos for the opportunity!"
