Issue 93 - December 2016

From the Assistant Editor:

We are finishing out the year strong and couldn't be more excited to feature portfolios from four talented, kick-ass female photographers: Abbey Hepner, Jaime Lowe, Susan Ressler and Lissa Rivera. Each artist uses her voice to explore culturally and socially important ideas in an approachable and compelling way. I hope that you will give each portfolio the time and consideration it deserves.

Also in this issue, Leo and Lauren provide their insights into The Canadians and Elegy, respectively. If you haven't yet, be sure to take a minute and check out their collaborative list of their favorite photo books of 2016!

And last but certainly not least, the Holiday Print Sale is going strong! Please consider purchasing a print or two from the hard-working dedicated artists. Add to your collection while supporting photographers and Fraction – it's a win/win/win.

As 2016 comes to a close we'd like to extend our sincerest thanks and gratitude to each and every one of you. Fraction is a labor of love, and it is so refreshing to connect with fellow photo enthusiasts in a multitude of ways throughout the year. Please stay in touch and let us know what you are working on. Have a safe and relaxing holiday season!

Best,

Bree Lamb
Assistant Editor
